Official Canterbury Ireland away long sleeved rugby shirt from the 2017/18 international season.
This is Canterbury's softer 'traditional' version of the jersey, designed for supporters. It features a cotton / polyester material mix and Vapodri motif near the lower hem (compared to the more flexible 'pro-fit' version, designed to play rugby in).

After winning the 2018 Six Nations Championship with a Grand Slam, Ireland returned to second in the world rankings. A 2–1 series win over Australia in summer that year was followed by a second victory in two years against the world number one All Blacks, by 16–9 which cemented Ireland's number two ranking.
Following their success in the Six Nations, the Australia tour and the autumn internationals, Ireland were named 2018 World Rugby Team of the Year with Joe Schmidt claiming World Rugby Coach of the Year.
