This is O'Neills' superior 'player issue' version of the jersey, as worn by the elite players. It features an upgraded material mix, a tight fitting design and a soft pouch glued into the back of the inside of the collar (used to house a GPS device that tracks a player's performance).

In September 2023 the club's new away kit incorporated a stylised image of Ursa, a sculpture formerly located in the Bearpit, linking the kit to a piece of Bristol public art.
In December 2024, Bristol won 54–24 away to Leicester Tigers earning a record-breaking tenth consecutive away win the Premiership. The following match they lost 0–38 at home to Sale Sharks, the first time since September 2016 that they had not scored a point in a Premiership fixture.
